General Information

Can I contact you for live performances or recordings?

Yes! I am trained in all popular genres (including rock/metal, R&B, hiphop, reggae/dancehall, dance/EDM, latin/latin-fusion, jazz/jazz-fusion, country, blues, and more), I am a proficient reader, I’m quick to memorize tunes, and I arrive early. If you’d like to contact me for an upcoming performance, you can do so through my contact page and I will get back to you as soon as possible!
 

Can you play percussion?

Yes! I am well versed in a variety of percussion instruments including most hand drums, many pitched percussion instruments (xylophone and the like), and auxiliary percussion instruments of all varieties.
 

What else can you play?

If needed, I can provide backup vocals while playing drums. Furthermore, I have proficiency with fretted stringed instruments (electric bass being my strongest), and have strong familiarity with keyboard instruments. I have also arranged music for groups of all sizes from solo piano to big band and have strong familiarity with the DJing software Serato.
 

What teaching services do you provide?

I generally provide one-on-one drumset and music theory lessons for students of all levels, from those who have never touched an instrument before, to those needing help or tutoring for university or college degree programs. I also offer band coaching and live-show production workshops for bands who are looking to refine their live-show performance.

We’re thinking of buying a drumkit for a beginner. do you have any recommendations for what to look for?

Est-ce que vous offrez des cours en français?

Bien sur! Après avoir étudié dans une école francophone de la maternelle jusqu’au secondaire, je suis prêt à offrir des cours de batterie francophones ou bilingues! Trouver un enseignant de batterie franco-Ontarien à Toronto, c’est assez difficile… quelle chance que vous avez déjà trouvé le meilleur!

Not at all! I do offer to run games as well as play music, and you can find details regarding renting a DM/GM for an evening under the “GM Services” tab at the top of the page. Or, alternatively click HERE to be linked directly.

Ok, but be sure to keep it a secret! The password is “rlrrlrll”. Be sure to memorize it and keep it safe!
